Tyler Patnaude Service Scholarship

The Tyler Patnaude Foundation (TPF) offers scholarships to recognize and reward students of high character and strong work ethic who are committed to serving others in their schools and communities.

Each academic year, TFP will award one or two first-year college student with $2,500.

Scholarships will be based on an applicant’s history of service and character as demonstrated in their application.  It is our goal to reward students who have made verifiable and significant contributions.  Scholarship(s) will not be based on merit (grades), need (income), or athletic ability.  We will be objective and nondiscriminatory in our selection.

Our application process consist of the following:
1. General information form
2. 1-page paper on the applicant's work and motivation for service
3. List of up to 3 character references who can also verify the applicant’s community service.

The deadline for application is April 19, 2019.

The selected scholars will be notified via phone and/or email as well as by certified mail on the last Friday of April.  Funds will be distributed directly to the university/college and not to the student.  In order to not directly affect any other financial-aid the student may be receiving, funds may be used for any educational expense, not tuition only.
